Imo State Internal Revenue Service (IIRS), an operational arm of Imo State Board of Internal Revenue Service is the major funding arm of the Imo State Government empowered by the Imo State Revenue Administration Law (ISRAL) to collect taxes levies and other revenues due to the State. Over the years, IIRS has increased the State’s Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) by executing and implementing strategies which have positively impacted revenue generation and collection. IIRS continues to position itself as a major funding arm of the state government by optimizing and restructuring strategies that will ensure voluntary compliance and collection of the proper amount of revenue.

Mr. Justice Remijus Okoye (FCA) is from Orlu Local Government Area of Imo State. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and an Associate, Chartered Institute of Taxation Nigeria (CITN) and a seasoned tax practitioner with over 15 years post-qualification experience in accounting, finance and tax matters, especially in the deployment of tax management solutions with automation of key collection processes.
Mr. Justice, as an astute professional is result oriented and target driven with excellent communication and conceptualisation skills.
